Short Day Schedule on Friday for 7th-12th

On Friday, February 12, Liberty Christian School will dismiss 7th-12th grades at 12:00pm.  We will be following our short day schedule.

The Liberty Christian School community is mourning the death of Betty Simpson, the wife of our former principal, Charles Simpson.  Mrs. Simpson went on to heaven on Tuesday night after a lengthy battle with cancer.

For those who would like to be a part of the memorial, the viewing will be held on Thursday night from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Baldwin Fairchild at the intersection of Rinehart & 46A, and then the funeral will be held on Friday in our auditorium at 1:00pm.

Enjoy a night out!  Children 12 & under are invited to join us for a kids-only event that will allow parent to have a special night out.  Check-in will be held at the nursery of Palmetto Avenue Baptist Church.

We will be showing the Disney Movie "Up" from 7:00pm-8:30pm.  If you would prefer that your child not view this movie, other activities will be available.

The junior and senior classes of Liberty Christian School are hosting a Parents' Night Out in order to raise money for the MANNA Feeding Center in Belize.  This center is a missions project of Palmetto Avenue Baptist Church and provides underprivileged children with healthy meals, clean water, and spiritual guidance that can enhance their lives.

Scholarship Renewals

On March 1, families who receive the Children's First and McKay Scholarships can begin the renewal process for the 2010-2011 academic year.

Please remember that some families are periodically selected by the scholarship providers for verification.  This can be an extended process that may affect your ability to begin classes with us in the fall.  So, please be sure to start this process early to secure your scholarship.

Cause Life Project

If you were at the Children of the World performance last night, you caught a glimpse of the worldwide need for clean water. WorldHelp the organization that sends out the Children of the World choir is actively involved in seeking to build well for the needy people of the world in hopes of lessening the number of children you die each day from diseases that would have easily been prevented if the child had had access to clean water.
